This easter egg cover features 12 small flowers which are joined-as-you-go around a plastic easter egg.

For large eggs - 3 1/4” tall - use a 1.5 mm hook and 40 yds of size 10 crochet thread. For small eggs - 2 1/2” tall - use a 1 mm hook and 38 yds of size 20 crochet thread or #8 embroidery cotton.

You can make the flowers all the same color or in any variety of colors. The photos in the pattern show the flowers worked in 6 different colors with two of each color.
