This is the Handbag and Sandals patterns of the Sunny Spring Day Outfit, designed to fit the American Girl 18” dolls. They are worked on #2 needles with a Sport / Baby weight yarn. The handbag i-cord strap is worked on #2 Double Pointed Needles.

The handbag’s finished weight is approx. 3 grams or .2 ounces
The sandal’s finished weight is approx. 10 grams or .4 ounces

Additional items used are a tapestry needle and 2 buttons for the sandals. Double pointed needles are used for the handbag strap.

The handbag incorporates a flower pattern made with mini bobbles on the front and the crossing of stitches to create the raised diamond pattern on the back to match the Puffy Sleeve Floral Shirt and Sun Hat with Picot Brim from this set.

The handbag strap is a two toned i-cord which matches the belt pattern which is included with the shorts pattern from this set. The sandals incorporate a mini bobble to match the flowers of the pattern set.
