This floral pillow will surely add some zing to your living room! Not only does it look pretty, it uses a few nice crochet techniques which may be new to you, such as bobbles and overlay crochet. While having a bold floral design on the front, the back is nice and plain. Work on the front when you’re looking for a more engaging crochet WIP, and work on the back when you want some nice TV-crocheting time.

It uses my all-time favourite cotton yarn by Scheepjes: Scheepjes Cotton 8, in the following colours:
-2 balls in Light Pastel Green 663
-1 ball in Seagreen 665
-1 ball in Fuchsia 720
-1 ball in Salmon 650

The pillowcase is made to be removable so it can be washed. Instructions for sewing in a zipper are included in the pattern. You will need a 40cm zipper for this project.

Tip: When purchasing the inner cushion (45cm square), you could choose one in a coordinating colour. The crochet pattern leaves small holes in the corners and the inner cushion will be slightly visible underneath. I chose a mintgreen inner cushion and it matches very well!
