Floral Throw
This is the crochet PATTERN for a throw worked in crochet with raised flowers. It can be worked to any size, and using any colours or scraps of yarn.
Materials
For the throw made of 36 squares with shell edging:
3 x 50g balls Wendy Mode shade 208 Azalea Pink, 2 x 50g balls Wendy Mode shade 204 Barely Pink, 1 x 50g balls Wendy Mode shade 205 Iris, 1 x 50g balls Wendy Mode shade 206 Stirling Blue. (142 meters per ball)
1 x 3.5 mm (E4)crochet hook
To substitute yarn use the correct length of any DK (light worsted) yarn with a knit tension of 22 sts and 28-30 rows over stocking stitch on no 4 mm needles.
Sizes
The throw worked here is made up of 36 squares, 6 rows of 6 squares. This measures 77 cm square including the shell edging. Each square measures 12.5 cm square. The throw could be worked with any number of squares to form a square or a rectangle.
