Florence is a lovely, slightly slouchy hat knit seamlessly, bottom up. It is worked in sport weight yarn. The body of the hat is knit in simple yet effective Cable and Lace Pattern that gives it interesting and feminine look. It is a perfect head accessory on a chilly day.

Size: one size, to fit 54-56 cm (21-22”) head circumference;

Yarn: Lanivendole A Pure And Simple Wool 100% wool; 300 meters (328 yards)/100g (3.53 oz): 1 skein; sample shown in Pattini colorway;
Or: approx. 165 m/ 180 yards of sport weight yarn;

Gauge: 20 sts and 32 rounds in stockinette stitch to 10 cm/ 4” on 4 mm/US6 needles, blocked; one Cable and Lace Pattern repeat measures 9 cm/ 3.5” in width and 3 cm/ 1.20” in hight;

Needles: 3.25 mm/ US3 and 4 mm/ US6 40 cm (16”) circular needles or needle size to obtain the gauge and/or set of 4 mm / US6 double-pointed needles or needle size to obtain the gauge;

Other: one stitch marker, tapestry needle to weave in loose ends;

Measurements: approx. 23 cm/ 9” long, blocked and measured from bottom to top;
