Fresh, structural, and sophisticated, Florence is ideal for mild winters and transitional seasons (or my preference, for wearing a beanie inside!).

This hat is completely gender-neutral and sized for babies, children, and adults.

Hats should keep their shape over time, so Florence calls for a springy sport-weight merino-Rambouillet blend from Wool & Palette - a yarn with crisp, deep stitch definition and an amazing memory. This yarn is substantial, and with a micron count of 20-21, very, very soft against the skin.

“This hat is the next step up for an adventurous beginner knitter and very fun to make. For me, the Tubular Cast On was new but well explained and therefore a success. If you do get stuck Jennifer is easily reachable to help you out which is always a plus. I loved stitching it up, I admire the crown shape and I enjoy wearing it” - Marieke
