Happy Bear will be about 15cm / 7in tall by 15cm / 7in in wide., if you use the yarn and hook as per the pattern. You can make it larger or smaller by adjusting the hook and yarn weight.

This pattern includes instructions supported by many photos.
You will need to know how to do:
- Stitches: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet;
- Increase & decrease
- Crochet in rounds
I have used Passion yarn from Three Bears Yarn in the following colours, but you can use any yarn and suitable size hook – the size of the finished item will change accordingly. Bears also look great when made with Catona by Scheepjes as well as Muscat by Drops.
Main Colour: Brown: 2 balls (100g)
Contrast Colour: White: 1 ball (50g)
Contrast Colour 2: Red – 1/5 ball (10g)
Crochet hook: 2.5 mm; Use slightly smaller hook if your crochet tends to be on the loose side
Tapestry needle, Toy Filling, Scissors
