Meet Florence. She recently migrated to London to be near family living in London Zoo. She’s quite tired after her journey, and is now ready to settle down in a nice comfortable home preferably near a lake.

This pattern includes step-by-step images and written instructions.

Must know how to:

  • Single crochet (US) / Double crochet (UK)
  • Use ‘Magic circle’ method for crochet in the round (stitch multiple stitches within one loop and pull tight to form a circle)
  • Increase
  • Decrease
  • Slip stitch
  • Chain stitches
  • Change colours
  • only suitable for English speakers

You will need:

  • 50g bright/dark pink double knitting yarn for main body
  • 50g of pale pink double knitting yarn for legs and beak
  • Small amount of black double knitting yarn for beak and eyes
  • 4mm crochet hook
  • Embroidery needle
  • Polyester toy stuffing
  • Row marker

Finished product is approximately 15cm high (from seated).
