Florencia Bay is a pretty crescent-shaped shawlette, knitted in laceweight yarn. The bear print pattern has yo increases at the centre and edges, and then the wave pattern is formed with gradually larger needles and creates a gently scalloped border along the bottom (hence all the different sizes listed; use straight or circular needles as you prefer). Florencia Bay is 90cm/36 inches wide, and 50cm/20 inches deep; it’s possible to make a larger shawl by doing more repeats of the wave chart before the final border.
