Flouncy Skirt Recipe
This pattern is
available for free.
The beauty of this skirt pattern is like a top down sweater, you can cast on and knit until it is just the right size. I hate swatching and I hate ripping back when I discover the sizing is not right.
With this Flouncy skirt recipe, you cast on and knit the top of the skirt sideways in corrugated stockinette/reverse stockinette to your desired measurement. Then pick up and work down to your desired length. Eyelets are worked at the top edge for an i-cord tie to hold it all secure.
The featured skirt is worked in two layers with cotton sock yarn, but can be adapted to the yarn of your choice.
