This collection consists of 4 crochet snowflake patterns. They all have the same flower in the centre, but the surrounding patterns are all different. This creates 4 completely different snowflakes that still fit together in a set very well. They look very good hanging in the window or from branches and create a very wintry, yet ‘hyggelig’ atmosphere up to Christmas.

You can use any yarn you wish for these patterns. I use and recommend a 3-ply linen yarn that’s available from several Etsy shops and a 2 mm hook. However, other yarns are very suitable too.

Measurements: when made with 3 ply linen yarn the snowflakes have the approximate measurements when blocked:

Flouret Wheel Snowflake: 12 cm / 5 inches
Flouret Icicle Snowflake: 11 cm / 4 1/4 inches
Flouret Feather Snowflake: 13.5 cm / 5 1/4 inches
Flouret Arachne Snowflake: 12 cm / 5 inches

When made with thicker or thinner yarn the measurements will vary.
