Super cute and flirty crochet top pattern. Perfect for someone that knows the basics stitches but wants to make something a little more interesting like creating a texture and learn how to make cute embellishment like flowers and butterflies.

This pattern has written instructions and pictures to complement the harder bits like the flowers and butterfly which are made all in one piece.

Materials needed are simply:
Hook needle
Yarn
Tapestry needle

The original top is made with size 6 yarn and a 1.75mm hook needle. I only used 100grams for what it is an equivalent to a size XS - S. Yes, you read correctly a complete top with only 100grams ahah ! It is backless though, I made long straps that cross in the back, for a flirty and fresh feel.

Also I made this top in one day, but I imagine a size 4 yarn and size 3-4 needle would work beautifully as well, and cut down your crochet time significantly ahah!

It’s a very customisable piece, so the size can be made to measure or allowing around 5 cm per each size up. As you can see in the pictures I prefer minimal coverage ahah! But it’s something you can easily adapt to your preference.

I explained everything so you can understand why you are doing certain things in order to utilize the techniques as you wish. There’s a bit of math involved and everything, which will be very useful anytime you need to make embellishments !
