This pattern gives written instruction for you to make your own petaled flower bucket hat.

Level: Advanced beginner/early intermediate (stitches are simple, but confidence and patience are needed- including with sewing. Basic knowledge of gauge is helpful when choosing yarn)

Supplies:
• 4mm hook (or hook required for gauge/tension)
• Stitch markers, or similar (optional)
• Yarn needle (for sewing petals)
• Worsted weight Yarn (weight- Medium/4) – 224 yards/204 meters for crown colour, 109 yards/100 meters for brim, 109 yards/100 meters for petals (all amounts approx.)

Stitches/Abbreviations Used- US terminology
• St: stitch
• Ch: chain
• Sl st: slip stitch
• MR: magic ring/Magic circle
• Sc: single crochet
• Inc: regular increase (two single crochet stitches in one stitch)
• Dc inc: increase with double crochets (two double crochets in one stitch)
• 5 dc CL: 5 double crochet cluster (indicated as CL in pattern for ease of reading)
• BLO: back loop only
• FLO: front loop only
• F/O: finish or fasten off
• Numbers in brackets at the end of the row dictate the number of stitches you should have e.g.- the first round of the hat will have (10) stitches.
