Flower Crossbody/Shoulder Bag
This fun tapestry crochet flower crossbody bag/shoulder purse will make a great addition to your accessory wardrobe, or a perfect gift for a friend!
It is helpful if you have some experience with tapestry crochet, but if you are familiar with how to change colors and carry your yarn, you should be able to complete this pattern.
When creating this bag, I used the intarsia and strand carry method for the flower portion.
This bag measures approx. 8” wide and 9” tall (without the strap). The crossbody strap measures approx. 47” (when attached).
You can adjust the strap to whatever size you like, i.e. if you want to make a shoulder bag, you could make the strap smaller, or if you wanted a longer or shorter crossbody strap you can adjust it accordingly. You would just crochet less or more rows when crocheting your strap.
PLEASE NOTE: The flower in the picture of the bag is different than the flower chart. I made adjustments to the flower in the chart to fit the bag better). See last pic.
