Gauge:
18sts/12rows= 10cmX10cm (4X4 inch) in hdc between the posts
Gauge is not so important in this design. It would be so easy to substitute a yarn you may already have and use the measurements provided.

Note about the waistband The skirt waist needs to be fitted and the ribbing is extremely stretchy. There is a negative ease up to 10cm/4in for the waistband.
