I used worsted weight, 4ply acryllic yarn. RHSS = Red Heart Super Saver
Skin – Red Heart Super Saver (RHSS) “Aran”
White – RHSS “White”
Black – RHSS “Black”
Yellow – RHSS “Bright Yellow”
Pink – RHSS “Baby Pink”
Bright Pink – RHSS “Pretty N’ Pink”
Orange – RHSS “Pumpkin”
Blue – RHSS “Turqua”
Some of the multicolor yarns I used include RHSS “Berry” and Caron Simply Soft “Times Square”
Gauge: 20 single crochet stitches by 22 rows makes a 4x4 inch square.
Because this is a non-wearable item, you don’t need to stress too much about gauge as long as your stitches are tight enough that the stuffing doesn’t show.

Yardage:
The body uses about 25 yards, the petals use 40 – 60 yards depending on the type of petal you use. Total yardage is up to 85 yards.
Yardage can vary by person and gauge. These are estimates based on my own use. It is always good to have a little extra just in case!
