Adventure of Flower Mole

There was a lonely flower mole named “Mole” in a desert. He sometimes went to grandmother’s house in a village for fun. The old lady talked to him. “There are many beautiful flowers blooming somewhere in the world.” Mole asked her, “What is a flower?” She answered, “It’s like one on the tip of Mole’s nose.” Mole wanted to see various flowers. And he went on a journey to find flowers by himself.

Mole decided to go to Sherwood Forest of Nottinghamshire in England…

Techniques
It is knitted in the round using 3 balls of different color yarn with interesting style of Eesti (Estonia). The pattern is designed with a thick thread. For easy knitting, we use only one or two colors in one round. There are holes for passing cord in the upper part of hat. When squeezing the fabric through the cord, the upper part of the hat becomes like a flower. If loosen the cord, it also becomes a neck warmer. You may be able to feel fun to knit a design pattern that has different colors in every round. The pattern shows how the flower buds grow and bloom. You may feel the flower blooming as you progress.
