Special technique for creating the tutu skirt so that the tulle attached does not show around band of dress.
Tutu skirt can be short and full, or full length and flowing.
Bodice can be made empire waist style, or longer to sit at the waist.

Story behind the design: A friend of mine was getting married, on the beach… Her 4 yr old neice was to be the flower girl. Well, I KNEW what I had to do. Design the perfect dress for the flower girl, of course! I wanted something lacy and cute, that would fit the venue, and this little dress is the result. Of course, you can make it for ANY occasion, but it certainly makes a fantastic flower girl dress! It also works fantastic as a prop for baby photos.

The possibilities are endless with the different colors that can be used for edging, tulle ribbons and flowers. Let your imagination run wild and have fun!

This little dress is so easy to make and very quick to work up. A matching headband pattern is also included.
