I designed this Baby Blanket for a Baby Girl in the family as a present and was overwhelmed about the response I got.

Made in Granny squares which are joined on the go in the last round, then a border all around.
I used a lot of colors so you do not use a whole ball of each color - you can also use your stash yarn….

More for intermediate Crocheters (as for the leaves…) -
BUT I made a lot of pictures, so that you have a complete photo tutorial with this pattern.
There is also a video on my youtube channel which demonstrates the technique for the joining.

Finished measurements:
20 squares for a 4x5 square blanket with border.
One square without the last 2 joining rounds: 15 x 15 cm.
Border width: 6 cm.
Blanket size: 85 x 101 cm of a square is 15 cm.
