This blanket starts off with the Flower Granny Square and then continues to make this simple echo like effect for this corner blanket. You use only 2 sides of the granny so they are in short rows for each side and easy to keep track of the stitch count.

Use any 4 colors you like, but I recommend using your lightest color for the border rows. Keep crocheting the repeat until you have it as big as you want.

I used 4 colors for this project. I would get 2 skeins of each color except for the Main color, I’d get 3 skeins of this.

Maroon - 1st color
Off White – border color
Light Gold / Light brown – Main color through out
Dark Grey - 2nd color

There are many ways to connect granny squares, but this pattern will not be showing how to do this. This pattern will show you how to make the square only.
