Mug rugs are quick makes, do not require lots of yarn and make great gifts!

The pattern contains 2 complimentary designs to create a set. Each design has a special indentation to hold a mug or cup.

The design is symmetrical and hence hand dominance doesn’t matter.

I would suggest using a #2 Sport weight yarn so that you get a reasonable sized mug rug.

I used Catania by Schachenmayr

Yarn Usage per set of 2 mug rugs:
Col A - 2 x balls (250m) - Catania Solids
Col B - 2 x balls (250m) - Catania Solids

with a 2.5mm hook.
