Hexagons are possibly my favourite shape. Anyone that has tried English Paper Piecing knows just how addicting it is. I love how such intricate designs can be made with the humble hexagon, so I wanted to see how I could translate these effects into knitted designs. I used DK weight yarn to knit mine, and will write this pattern assuming you will be too. Gauge isn’t terribly important for this pattern (in whichever yarn weight you choose) as long as the finished hexagons are the same size when blocked.
