Flower in a Pot
Use up all your left over yarn to make these funky crochet flowers. You can use the flowers to decorate bags, clothing or hats, or you can put them in a pot to use as a room decoration.
Flower in a pot is the ideal gift, they don’t wilt and will brighten up a child’s room, an office or even a hospital room. Give them as gifts for birthdays, a house warming, mothers day, for teachers - the possibilities are endless!
This is an intermediate pattern, but an adventurous beginner would be able to follow along with the step-by-step photo’s of the stitches as well as the pattern. A one-page printer friendly version is also included. The pattern is available in both UK and USA crochet terms.
Gauge is not important for this project. Worsted weight cotton yarn was used for the flowers in the photo’s, but you can make these flowers in any yarn, simply use one crochet hook size smaller than indicated on the yarn label to ensure a firm flower.
