Decorative and canning have many practical purposes, whether you fill them with items for a gift or use the jars around your home to hold things, so why not jazz them up with a pretty lid cover to give a personal and decorative touch?
The Flower Jar Lid Covers Pattern includes instructions for 12 crochet flower cover accents; Rosebud, Forget-Me-Not, Violet, Marigold, Zinnia, Carnation, Daffodil, Poppy, Daisy, Poinsettia, Rose and Pansy. The flowers are in the shape of a flower bloom, to completely cover the opening of the jar.
Choose a jar with an approximate lid diameter of 3 inches. Each cover is a quick crochet project. The finished size of the cover is about 5 inches to create pretty ruffles over the edge of the jar.

½ yd of coordinating ¼″ wide Ribbon for each cover.
