As I knit these fairy wings I imagined myself making REAL wings to gift to the fairies and it made me SO happy!
I have decided to make these wings free. I hope they bring a touch of magic and childlike wonder to your life.

Construction
My wings are stress-free to make! Each wing is knit separately in the round on double-pointed needles. Embroidery is used instead of fiddly colorwork and the cast on end is used to secure the wings to the dolls. I made a front and a back, so NO blocking was needed!

This pattern includes instructions for just the fairy wings. These wings are made to fit my Wee Folk Valley dolls. They come in 2 sizes - Adults and children’s. If you want them to fit another project simply adjust your needle size, or change your yarn size.

Yarn
I knit mine in worsted as I like a firm fabric, but given they have a front and a back you can knit them in any sized yarn.
