I made this pattern because I needed a blanket to have during the summer. I use it all the time when I take my 5 month old to the department store or the cafe, where the aircon might be a bit too fresh.

It’s a very simple knit pattern with a crochet scallop border.

The finished dimensions are (width x length): approximately 85cm x 80cm

IMPORTANT: PDF patterns are nonrefundable once bought.

Yarn:
11 balls of cotton 40g x 76m (10ply or worsted yarn)
I used cotton yarn from Japan so the ply suggestion is very approximate. The label of the yarn shows the gauge to be 20sts x 25rows using needle sizes 4.50mm

Needles:
4.50mm to cast on
4.00mm for the rest of the blanket
4.00mm crochet hook

GAUGE
・2 “petal” pattern repeats width x height: approx. 8cm x 3.5cm
(Height doesn’t matter so much, as you can make the blanket as long as you’d like)
・Crochet scallop border: 4 scallops is approx. 10cm wide
