This thick and cozy blanket can be an extra-warm afghan, a wall hanging or even a rug. It makes a great play mat for babies or a luxurious picnic blanket.Personally, I snuggle under mine on the sofa in the winter. Knit it on an Authentic Knitting Board, Knifty Knitter Long Loom, Kiss Loom or Noble Knitter. 100 needles make the blanket it one piece but it may also be made in strips on any loom with at least 10 needles. The loom does need to be able to handle bulky yarn. 5 colors of bulky yarn are used. Other #5 yarns may be substituted.
Finished size: 36X60. Other sizes are possible and included in the pattern. Stockinette and fairisle stitches are fully explained in the pattern.
