The pattern provided is a pattern for simple crocheted fingerless mittens. The size fits most adult hands but can be adjusted if too tight or too loose by going up or down in hook sizes or less of a foundation chain. Gauge is not extremely important universally, but keep in mind that making two of these requires you to check your own gauge and tension and keep track of it so that your gloves come out as similar as possible.

Worsted weight yarn and a 5mm is the default for this pattern, but can be adjusted with different weighted yarn and hook sizes according to preference. Only one skein of yarn is necessary for this project. Colors and types of yarn is completely up to the crocheter!
