Flower Power
Pattern description from Stitch ‘N Bitch Nation: “I came up with this project after accidentally shrinking and felting a mohair sweater that made its way into the wash. I loved the texture of the fabric, so I cut it into patches for appliqués. When I was trimming the loose threads from the sewing, I realized I liked that extra bit of green mohair hanging00it actually looked like roots. Everyone who tries this loves the roots, so that’s another cool part of this sweater that just happened. The shape of this sweater is a bit fitted and it has longer-than-average sleeves. It’s the kind of thing you can just throw on with jeans or a skirt and go! It’s comfy and cozy and fun--what more could you want in a sweater.
