Flower Ripple Blanket
This is a delicate flower that ripples out into a lovely star shaped blanket. It makes a beautiful baby blanket but can also be made larger for home use. It is an intermediate pattern with a range of stitches.
I suggest a Scheepjes Whirl, Hobbii Twister, or similar, although a solid colour also looks wonderful. 1 cake (1000m) is perfect for a baby blanket.
