Flower Shawl
The Flower shawl is a simple two-row repeat crochet pattern that gives the impression of a much more complicated stitch.
The Shawl is worked from the widest point starting with a chain and initial row which set up the loops for the initial 39 flowers, then decreases by 2 flowers each pattern repeat, so seems to work up faster and faster as the crafter progresses. A final row down one side of the triangle completes the shawl.
The pattern gives instructions to create a mini-triangle starting with 5 flowers, then 3, then 1, and full details on how to adjust the pattern to change the size if required.
The pattern is based on using Cotton DK yarn and a 3.5mm crochet hook. 400g of DK Cotton is required to achieve the standard size shawl.
