When you live far up north where the winter is long and the days short, the longing for spring is something that keeps you going during those darker months.
The idea for these socks was born just when the light was beginning to return and we couldn’t wait for all the spring flowers to burst out in blooms.

Sizes
Small (Medium, Large)
The circumference round the sock’s foot is 15 (17.5, 19.5) / 6 (6.75, 7.75)”, while the length of the sock is adjustable.
For a good fit, knit the socks 2.5 cm / 1” shorter than foot length and choose a size 2.5-5 cm / 1-2” narrower than foot circumference.

Limmo-design Hand dyed sockgarn, 420m/100g in five colours
MC Grön I/Silver: 120 (140, 160) m / 130 (150, 170) yards
CC1 Syren/Plomon: 40 (65, 85) m / 45 (70, 90) yards
CC2 Citron/Petrol: 40 (65, 85) m / 45 (70, 90) yards
CC3 Himmelsblå/Grön I: 40 (65, 85) m / 45 (70, 90) yards
CC4 Rosa marsipan/Curry: 40 (65, 85) m / 45 (70, 90) yards
Note that meterage / yardage may differ depending on the length of the sock.
Gauge
On 2.25 mm / US1 needles: 38 sts and 52 rnds = 10x10 cm / 4x4” in st st, 36 sts and 54 rnds = 10 x 10 cm / 4”x4” in striped lace pattern
I am a tight knitter so you may need to go down a needle size to obtain gauge.
