This crocheted rectangular throw was designed for the #10121 Hayfield Bonus DK brochure for Sirdar. Using British crochet terms and charts, the blanket’s tapestry crochet (knitting intarsia equivalent) square shapes use 4 colourways being worked in pieces and joined together. A chart is included for each of the 2 square types, and a schematic shows both placement and colour combination of each square. A diagram is included on the Magic Ring technique.

TENSION

• 1 square 15.5 cm / 6inches measured side by side on 4.0mm hook or the size required to give correct tension.
• The pattern lists USA F hook as the equivalent of 4.00mm.
  Check your tension - if less stitches use a thinner needle, if more use a thicker needle.
