Knit our Short Sleeved Dress and Sleeveless Dress suitable to fit a child from birth to 7 years old.

The instructions are for 6 sizes: 0-6 m, 6-12m, 1-2 yrs, 2-3 yrs, 4-5 yrs and 6-7 yrs.

The dresses have a bobble flower pattern to the skirt and a moss stitch border. The front and back are knitted separately on straight needles and the sides sewn together. The back has a 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 4) button opening.

The pattern uses double-knitting wool. An alternative would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply for international knitters. You will also need size 3.25 mm (US 3) and 4 mm (US 6) straight needles.

The picture shows the 4-5 years size knitted using Rico Baby Dream DK Uni in shade Light Blue (004) for the Short Sleeved Dress and Cream (012) for the Sleeveless Dress.
