Make coasters, spa cloths, washcloths, or blankets, the choice is yours!
The pattern is charted and written out (updated in July 2024).

The square is worked flat, knitting back and forth in rows in a mosaic garter stitch. Mosaic knitting is one of the easiest colourwork techniques. It uses just one of the yarns at a time, while the other waits at the beginning of the round. All you need to know is how to knit and slip stitches to create an intricate pattern.

Mosaic colorwork washcloth brightens your bathing or washing rituals. It makes a lovely, quick, easy gift and looks beautiful.
Knitted coasters are functional to protect your table, quick to make, and a great way to use up leftover yarns. Add a splash of colour and fun to your everyday life or when socializing with friends.

Knit up a set of coasters in the same two contrasting colours or choose different ones for each coaster. Which one you would choose for your best friend?
