This little crochet pattern will entertain the crochet enthusiast for hours, with detailed instructions for bees, butterflies, a ladybug, bright bold flowers, and even a simple single crochet baby cap to sew them to!

The patterns are simple and come with a materials list, a key to abbreviations, notes, lots of photos of the projects in progress, and of course the instructions themselves, written in standard U.S. terms.

Most of these appliques work up to 2 to 3 inches, depending on whether you work them in crochet thread or yarn. All of the designs with work with either. You’ll need to know single crochet, double crochet, chain stitch, slip stitch, and a long single crochet stitch which is simple and is described in great detail.
