Flowerful Shawl
This Flowerful Shawl uses Breakaway Crochet Method techniques to work continuous motifs that are joined-as-you-go.
Working this in red means the flowers resemble poinsettias so would make a lovely accent for the Christmas holiday season. Other colours would also be attractive for other occasions.
It is a trapezoid-shaped shawl that is made up of hexagonal motifs, which involve some unusual techniques to work them. A video tutorial is available on YouTube to demonstrate everything you need to know.
Although the specified yarn is no longer available, the Holst Garn Coast should be a good substitute (at least 5 balls as an estimated amount). Any fingering weight SOLID COLOUR or semi solid-coloured sock yarn would also be a lovely alternative. Colour-changing or ombré yarn cakes are NOT recommended unless you’re happy with unexpected placement of the colours.
