Flowering Meadow Socks
Who doesn’t enjoy the sight of a flower meadow, bursting
with colors and forms? The stitch pattern used in these
socks forms small motifs reminiscent of flowers, which
emerge from a background of Stockinette Stitch.
The socks are knit toe-up with a gusset and heel flap.
Gusset increases are worked as part of the instep pattern
on the top of the foot. The foot length is customizable,
but the Instep Pattern needs to be worked in full to get the
correct stitch count; Instep Pattern and heel turn add approx
4 (4.75, 5.25)“ to the total length. The leg length can be
altered by working fewer or more repeats of the Leg pattern.
Always slip stitches purl-wise with yarn held to wrong side.
Charts are worked in the rnd; read each chart row from right
to left as a RS row.
