Flowers for Philo Scarf
Yarn: Any weight yarn (at least one 100g skein) in 2 or more colors. Highly variegated yarns are not recommended as stitch definition will be lost. For best results select solids, tonals, or lightly speckled colorways.
Gauge: Gauge is not important for this pattern
Suggested Needles:
Fingering: US 6
Sport: US 7
DK: US 9
Worsted: US 10
Aran: 7mm or US 10.5
A larger needle is used so that after blocking the scarf will have a nice drape and not result in a too-bulky fabric, but if your starting fabric feels loose, drop down a needle size.
Notions: Yarn needle for weaving in ends)
Measurements: Final measurements will vary depending upon how many repeats you choose to work.
Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner
Misc.:
This scarf is worked from side to side. The final shaping will be achieved through blocking. Optional tassels add interest and weight to the wingtips.
