Crochet wall art! This 3 dimensional work of art features cheerful Red and Pink carnation like Flowers in a lovely delft inspired Blue and White Vase. Each piece is separately crocheted and attached to a large crocheted “canvas” bordered with a crocheted “frame”. The finished work measures about 16” wide by about 21.5” high. The pattern is fun to crochet with a variety of stitches and techniques to keep things interesting. Worked in 7 shades of Red Heart Super Saver. Reinforced with a dowel across the back for hanging on a hook.

Stitch Markers, Yarn Pins, Tapestry Needle

Dowel – ¼ diameter. About 16” long. Can be purchased at craft stores in 36” lengths that can easily be cut (VERY CAREFULLY!) with a small hacksaw. Home improvement stores also carry dowels and will usually cut them for you.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate to Advanced.

GAUGE: Gauge is not important for this project. 13 stitches and 7 rows equal 4” in DC.
