The bag and purse are designed to be easy to knit. The pattern is designed to allow you to create your own garden scene by making as many or as few flowers, leaves, stems, ladybirds and bees as you desire. Moss stitch is used for the surface of bag and purse.

The bag measures approximately 30cm x 20cm (12in x 8in) and the purse when closed measure approximately 14cm x 10cm (5½in x 4in).

The bag and purse are designed to be knitted in Chunky yarn - tension 14sts and 19 rows to measure 10cm x 10cm (4inx4in).

The bag and purse are knitted using 6½mm needles with the items on the surface of bag knitted using 3mm needles. A bag and purse uses 150g of chunky yarn with 25g of double knitting yarn required for the flower and oddments of green, yellow, black and red double knitting yarn for the other items.
