“Flowers in my hair” is an asymmetrical shawl with an unusual shape.
The shawl is finished with I-cord borders for a tailored look.
Knitting starts with the first color in a simple lace motif; work continues in striped garter stitch, with the addition of the second color. The final section of the shawl is knit in the second color in the same lace motif used for the first section.
You start knitting from the narrow tip of the shawl, so it can be made as long or as short as you want, depending on how much yarn you have!

Finished measurements:
198 cm – 78 in along the longer side and 156 cm – 61 ½ in along the shorter side (after blocking).

Yarn and needles:
First colour (FC) – NOMAD NOOS Dry Desert Camel (100% handspun camel wool; 215 m – 236 yds / 50 g – 1.76 oz. skein): Gobi sand (beige); 2 skeins (502 m – 549 yds);
Second colour (SC) – NOMAD NOOS Smooth Satuul Sheep (100% handspun satuul sheep wool; 215 m –236 yds / 50 g – 1.76 oz. skein): flowers in my hair (yellow); 2 skeins (502 m – 549 yds);
Needles size 4.5 mm – US 7.
If necessary, please adjust needle size to obtain the specified gauge.
Other:
Tapestry needle and scissors.
Pins and a tape measure for blocking.

Gauge:
15 sts and 24 rows = 10 cm – 4 in in garter stitch in stripes: 2 rows of Dry Desert Camel and 2 rows of Smooth Satuul Sheep (after blocking).

La quantità della matasse è di 3 per ciascun colore, non di 2.
Mi dispiace molto per l’errore, scaricate la versione corretta!

“Flowers in my hair” è uno scialle asimmetrico con una forma inconsueta.
È rifinito con un bordo I-cord che dona un aspetto più curato allo scialle.
Si incomincia a lavorare con il primo colore un semplice motivo di pizzo, si prosegue la lavorazione a maglia legaccio a righe, inserendo il secondo colore. Si conclude con lo stesso motivo di pizzo, lavorando con il secondo colore.
Si incomincia a lavorare da una punta, per cui sarà possibile realizzarlo in varie misure, a seconda della disponibilità di filato che si possiede!

Misure finite:
198 cm lungo il lato più lungo e 156 cm lungo il lato più corto (dopo il bloccaggio).

Filato e ferri:
Primo colore (PC) – NOMAD NOOS Dry Desert Camel (100% cammello filato a mano; 215 m per matassa da 50 g): Gobi sand (beige); 2 matasse (502 m);
Secondo colore (SC) – NOMAD NOOS Smooth Satuul Sheep (100% lana satuul filata a mano; 215 m per matassa da 50 g): flowers in my hair (giallo); 2 matasse (502 m);
Ferri numero 4.5 mm.
Se necessario modificare il numero dei ferri per ottenere il campione corretto.
Altro:
Ago da lana e forbici.
Spilli e metro da sarta per il bloccaggio.

Campione:
15 m e 24 f = 10 cm lavorati a maglia legaccio a righe: 2 f in Dry Desert Camel e 2 f in Smooth Satuul Sheep (dopo il bloccaggio).
