A simple pullover knit in the round. The decision to work bottom-up was based on the chart, for the hearts needed the stitches to be worked this way. If not using charts, you can start at the bottom of the pattern and use increases instead of decreases to work top-down.

A great modification is to work extra rows of ribbing at the collar to make it a turtleneck.

The gauge was measured in stockinette, not within the colorwork. Some knitters find they may need to change needle sizes when working colorwork.

Remember, the jump from US 10 to US 11 needle sizes is big. You may prefer a 10.5 or 10.75.
