Another favourite creation instantly loved by children. This cheeky soft toy monster is sure to be a favourite with young and old. I have used both fluffy and standard 8 ply to create the textured surface. The shape makes the monster a toy you can wrap your arms around and have a cuddle. The green monster is my prototype. Some visiting school children, at my workplace, named it Beastie. Beastie has a much more fluffy face, however I found the fluffy texture was difficult to embroider so I edited the pattern. The second monster, who is orange, represents the final pattern and you’ll find it much easier to sew and to see the monsters face.

Suitable for a knitter with experience making soft toys. The trickiest parts were the feet and hands. Sewing is required.
