FLUFFY PLAID WRAP is an oversized scarf/wrap using three colors of Nuvoletta. Two skeins of the MC and one each of CC1 and CC2 worked in a Linen Stitch giving it the appearance of a woven fabric. The extra fluffy nature of the wrap is achieved by holding two strands of the Nuvoletta together throughout and using a US17 needle creating a relaxed gauge. The contrasting colored stripes are introduced through the intarsia technique and the marling of yarns held together give the color changes in the plaid a subtle effect. Finally the wrap is finished with a Twisted Fringe, which also combines the MC, CC1 and CC2 yarns. A video tutorial link for the Twisted Fringe is included in the pattern.
