“Flukes” is a cuff-down sock knit in the round with a heel flap and turn, and grafted toe. Size is a small (cast on 60 stitches) with gauge at 7.5 stitches per inch in stockinette. Sizing can be adjusted by using smaller or larger needles. The stitch pattern reminds me of a series of whale tails (flukes) waving in the air as the whales prepare to dive.
