Flamingo the Flump - 8 Page PDF

Flump is a bird who just adores water. She loves wading and dancing and being majestic in everything she does. We have even caught her wearing a tiara and ballet skirt from time to time, putting on her performace for all her winged friends. She’s too shy to show her feathers off to the rest of the gang just yet.

This PDF includes the written instructions in US terms and step-by-step photos detailing how to make the pieces to finish your creation. When made with DK weight yarn (sample made in Stylecraft Special DK) and a 2.0mm hook, the finished Stork will measure around 20cm/8” tall.

The project can be made using any weighted yarn, just adjust the hook size to match your choice.

You’ll need to know how to:

• make a Magic Ring or a chain 2 equivalent
• work in a round
• single crochet
• double crochet
• increase/decrease
• front/back loop only
• slip stitch

You will need the following materials:

Yarn: Stylecraft Special Dk - Acrylic - 100g/295m/323 yards
1 ball of each colour (you won’t need full balls): White (1001), Black (1002), Pale Rose (1080), Soft Peach (1240) and Blush (1833).
For the baby and basket, the colours are entirely up to you!
2.0mm crochet hook
12mm black safety eyes
Soft stuffing/ Fibrefill
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle
Dressmakers pins
