Flurry Hat
Flurry Hat
This hat is the foundations of your journey into colour. A simple structure, worked in the round, means you can quickly memorise a pattern you can return to and modify time and time again. Keep things simple and one tone, perhaps with a contrasting pom pom. Or step into a little stranded colourwork, with a simple one stitch colour change that keeps things gentle as you learn the art of working two colours of yarn.

Foundations: The first wobbly scarf you knit and knotted proudly around your neck to keep out the cold. The handmade mittens you wore as a child, a gift from a beloved relative. When we think about the hours spent making those items, we understand that they are an act of love. It’s the time you set aside for your own creativity that day. It’s the way you felt as your beloved pulled on your hat as they left for work that day. Each stitch, a hidden wish. The gift of handmade is at the core of our latest series of design collections. We named it ‘Foundations’ because these are the building blocks for a lifelong hobby in which we can clothe ourselves and our loved ones in beautiful colours and texture.
