Flutter Shawl
Shawl Level: Advanced Beginner
• Pattern is a repeat of 1 row. I have picture examples from a few rows and where to decrease.
(The border makes it advanced beginner since the border is a Solomon Knot. If you choose not to have a Solomon Knot border then it is an easy beginner pattern.)
Hook Size N and J
• Yarn: Loops and Threads Impeccable:
• I used 2 Skeins
• A weaving needle to weave in the ends
• Stitch marker or safety pins
• This Shawl is 68 inches L and 23 inches H with edging
• Border is a Solomon Knot Stitch with a Picot
• Stiches Used:
• Single crochet (SC)
• Chain (CH)
• Slip Stitch (SS)
• Double Solomon’s Knot Stitch with Picot for Border (SK)
• * (means repeat)
I added tutorial on how to make a Solomon Knot and also a picot on the last pages of the pattern.
