I designed this butterfly keychain in honor of Lupus Awareness. May is Lupus Awareness Month. Yarn & hook size is suggested. use whatever yarn you want & use the hook that the yarn calls for.

You can use any keychain or keyring for this. I used an emergency fix keychain like you can find on Knit Picks here: https://www.knitpicks.com/accessories/Emergency_Fix_Keychain__D80632.html..In the one I made I slip stitched around the part between the keyring and hook. If you are using just a keyring slip stitch around the keyring. I have tried to do this. While it is a bit tricky it does work.
